"FOLK THE WINTER! FOLK IT! FOLK IT RIGHT IN THE...
Are you as tired of the winter as we are? Last year, we folked the winter right out of existence with a folked-up parade with a super-secret surprise. Remember? When we took you from the back of the Gladstone out onto Queen and then met... the folking Icelandic Workers Union Band?! Well this year, we're even more excited to folk the winter. This year, we have an even awesomer super-secret surprise! Come join us once again in the FreshCo. parking lot on Friday, April 18th at 7:00. Don't be late, because if you don't leave with us, you'll NEVER know where the surprise is! Bring the kids!"

Blackout 10th Anniversary
https://www.facebook.com/events/614851965201532/
The 2003 Blackout turned out to be an incredible opportunity for us to get out into the streets and other public spaces of Toronto and to meet and engage our respective communities.
It was a brief period full of the the accidental intimacies we all crave but sometimes overlook in our day to day lives.
Join us for a candlelit 10th annual commemoration of the evening that we were reminded what our beautiful city COULD be when we are open to the unexpected and all the gifts it brings.
8PM: gathering at the corner of Queen and Callender
8:30PM: opening set by the Lemon Bucket Orkestra
9:15PM: parade into the unexpected...
All you have to bring this year (MANDATORY):
- a candle
- a jar (for wind protection)
Other things you can bring (OPTIONAL):
- a picnic basket
- a blanket
- your friends and family
